About the Triumph Register of America

TRA Philosophy

The Triumph Register of America is the only national U.S. organization dedicated exclusively to the quintessential classic Triumphs—TR2, TR3, TR3A, TR3B, TR4, and TR4A. What does this mean for you, as a potential member? It means:

  • When you need in-depth mechanical advice, hard-earned troubleshooting experience, or trusted sources for hard-to-find parts, you’re backed by a passionate community of owners who live and breathe these legendary British roadsters.

  • You’re joining people who understand what it means to drive with the top down, exhaust blaring, feeling every undulation in the road, and the weather—whatever it may be—squarely in your lap.

How would we describe our members?

Although Triumph Register of America members come from all walks of life and all parts of North America, we share common traits:

  • We believe in steel dashboards, points ignition, easy to repair mechanicals, and cars that wrap around you.

  • We believe engines should last decades—preferably without ever coming out of the car.

  • We believe in the honest feel of unassisted steering, the music of twin constant-depression carburetors, and a suspension that sends you a handwritten note about every pebble on the road.

  • We believe that lack of air conditioning is a rite of passage, not a problem to be fixed. That being cold in the winter and hot in the summer makes you more in tune with your car—and maybe with life itself.

  • We believe that twisty-turny back roads are where you can find your soul, and Interstates are an anathema to be avoided wherever possible.

In short, whether you’re restoring a barn-find TR3, setting your valve lash on your TR2, or dialing in the IRS on your TR4A, the Triumph Register of America is your home. It’s where Triumph passion is preserved, quirks are embraced, and every drop of oil on the driveway is a badge of honor.
